Maresco, 77, of Palm Coast will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012, 10:00AM at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church. Friends may visit on Thursday, July 5, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home in Flagler Beach.

Honey passed away surrounded by her family and friends on July 1, 2012 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born on September 2, 1934 in Bronx, NY to the late Lawrence Kosack and Mildred Kosack (Cohen).

In the early 80's Honey founded Gamma High Voltage Research with a long time associate and friend Dominick Galluzzo in NY and relocated the company to Ormond Beach, FL with the majority of their loyal employees following. In 1988 she and her late husband, Charlie, moved to Palm Coast from Yonkers, NY.

Honey was one of the founding members of the Anchor Boat Club, past commodore and current secretary. She was also a past director of the Italian American Social Club of Palm Coast. Honey was very active in her community spending her time fundraising for Special Olympics, Adopt a Family and the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She held a special place in her heart for the Special Olympics of Flagler County where she volunteered for many years and was affectionately known as "Miss Honey". Honey enjoyed, spending time with her family and friends, reading, boating, traveling the world, and cruising.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles "Charlie" Maresco in 2000.

Survivors include her daughters, Honora Susan and her husband Richard Giumenta of Palm Coast; Valerie Lynn and her husband John DeMeo of Ormond Beach; Steve Mastriacovo of Palm Coast; brother, Jay Kosack of Palm Coast; grandchildren, Steven Charles Mastriacovo, Francis George Mastriacovo, Honora Marie Mastriacovo, Nicholas John DeMeo, Samantha Rose DeMeo; great-grandchild, Bella Marie Mastriacovo and her mother Jennifer Gioia; Nephew Jay Kosack; Niece Karen Kosack-Aguiar and many loving grand nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. And of course, all of her "grand dogs".

Honey was loved and will be missed by many but, is now with the love of her life, Charlie, where they both can smile and watch us all from above.
