Katherine Masse, 99, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She lived in Syracuse with her daughter, Katherine, and her son-in-law, Joe, for the past 11 years. Katherine belonged to Most Holy Rosary Church and was a member of the MHR Senior Citizens Group. 

She will be remembered for her crocheting of baby blankets, comfort shawls, lap robes, her baking and cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Masse. 

She is survived by her children, Katherine (Joe) Feeney, Carol (John) Dietz and Ernest (Gail) Masse; 10 grandchildren, Michael (Terri) Feeney, Timothy (Chris) Feeney, Kathleen (Mark) Westers, James (Suzanne) Feeney, John (Jill) Dietz, Stephen Dietz (Leslie Abbey), Jessica (Lars) Sjobring, Michelle Masse, Melissa (Christopher) Lambert and Mary (Daniel) Hill. She is also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 17 at noon in St. Joseph's Chapel at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13207. Katherine will be buried alongside her husband in Florida, where they lived for 25 years. There are no calling hours, as per her request. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katherine's name to the Hospice Foundation of C.N.Y, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
