BUNNELL - John H. Mauney, Jr., 74, of South Lemon Street, a retired assistant to the senior vice president at Continental Insurance in New York City, died Saturday at Flagler Pines Nursing Home, Palm Coast.

Mr. Mauney, an Army veteran, was born in Knoxville, Tenn. He received a law degree from the University of Tennessee, and enjoyed antique cars and reading.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Mauney, and Dave Fletcher, both of Knoxville, both of whom provided for his care.

Newlife Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.
