John Edward McCallen, 61, of Palm Coast, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at his home. John moved here from Franklin, NY in 2004 with his wife, Dale. A former auto service manager, he enjoyed, golfing, hunting and was a workaholic.

John is preceded in death by his parents, James and Agnes McCallen and brother, Terrence McCallen.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dale; daughters, Deborah McCallen of Mahopach, NY, Jodi Perkins of Boynton Beach, FL and Donna (John) Rich of Boynton Beach, FL; sisters, Mary (Jack) Tobin of Palm Coast, FL, Brigid Ann (Bill) Simoni of New Windsor, NY and Rose Allis of Beacon, NY; brother, James Brendan McCallen of Palm Coast, FL; sister-in-law, Mary Lee McCallen, brother-in-law, Robert Schilb; aunt, Phyllis Puglisi; grandchildren, Jenna Perkins, Katrina Perkins, Stefan Rich and Andrew Rich; six nephews; seven nieces; five great-nephews; and six great-nieces.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Ave., Flagler Beach.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, FL.

Arrangements are under the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
