Thursday, July 15, 2010Funeral services for Evelyn S. McGuire, 84 of Plantation Bay, Ormond Beach will be Monday July 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach FL. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGuire a resident of Ormond Beach for the past 22 years coming from East Hanover, NJ, passed away on Wednesday July 14 2010 at her home. She was born in Belleville NJ on February 11, 1926 a daughter of the late Edward and Liza Stevenson Ackerman. She enjoyed working with ceramics.
Surviving are her husband of over 62 years, George M. McGuire, her daughter, Alison Enright and her husband Richard, her son Richard McGuire and his wife, Carol of East Hanover, NJ and six grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
