Raymond “Sonny” Meadows

Sonny was born in Vero Beach, FL on November 17, 1930 to the late Claude Faye and Nell Francis Meadows (McCully).

As a young man he served in the US Army Artillery Division during the Korean Conflict. He and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area from Lawtey, FL. in 2002.

He was a Correctional Sergeant with the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office and currently a Judicial Process Server with the Flagler County Sheriffs Office. Sonny was an avid fisherman, hunter and an all around sportsman who loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille McKinnon and brother, Joseph Gordon Meadows.
Survivors include his wife of 13 yrs Gretchen; daughter, Amy and her husband Coy Maddox of Jacksonville; son, Andy Meadows of Jacksonville; sisters, Francis Bryant of Macclenny, FL; Carrie Uituschi of Jacksonville; brother, Billy Meadows of Georgia; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grand- children.
