Memorial service conducted by Elks BPOE Lodge #2709 for Everett J. Miozza will 2 p.m. Friday March 31, 2006, in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for the hour prior to the service. 

Mr. Miozza, 75, passed away at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital Friday, March 24. Everett was born July 10, 1930, in Fall River, Mass., to Francisco Antonio and Helena Hyacinth (Culligan) Miozza. He was an Air Force veteran. 

Mr. Miozza was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and held a Professional Engineering License (P.E.L.) in Connecticut. He worked as a mechanical engineer for United Technologies in Connecticut for 30 years, until his retirement in 1989. He and his wife were residents of this area for eight years, coming from Brewster, Mass. He was a member of Elks BPOE Lodge #2709 in Palm Coast, Daytona Beach Moose Lodge and a former member of Palm Coast Italian/American Club.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Ralph Miozza, Marie Hyacinth Waldran, Betty Servita and Francis Anthony Miozza. 

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 49+ years, Juliet Miozza, Ormond Beach; son, Kenneth Allen Miozza, Texas; siblings, Paul Vincent Miozza, Louisville, Ky., Walter Miozza, Melbourne, and Helena Miozza, Eleanor Rostocka and Edith Broadbent, all of Fall River; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
