PALM COAST - Frances Montalchi, 81, of Farragut Drive, a retired seamstress, died Friday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 

Mrs. Montalchi was born in Jersey City, N.J., and moved to this area in 1975 from North Bergen, N.J. She was a longtime volunteer for the Deborah Foundation. She enjoyed dancing, knitting, and making dolls for charity. 

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Joseph; a son, Joseph Jr., Flagler Beach; a daughter, Carol Pizzuto, Dunellen, N.J.; two brothers, Sonny and Frank Celauro, Beachwood, N.J.; and a sister, Ella Gentile, Jersey City, N.J.

Memorial donations may be made to the Flagler County Senior Day Care Center, 1000 Belle Terre Blvd., Palm Coast, 32164.
