Wednesday, March 3, 2010Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Maria Montano, 69, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Florida Hospital Flagler, will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pwky, Palm Coast, FL. Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm Mass in the Memorial Room of the Church. Burial will follow the Mass at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach.
Maria was born on January 2, 1941 in Naples, Italy to the late Clemente and Antonella (Mugnolo) D’Orio. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Maria moved to Palm Coast in 2004, coming from Chicago, IL. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandkids.
Maria is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Giuseppe Montano of Palm Coast. Additional survivors include her son, Antonio Montano; her daughter, Ippolita Basile; her son, Joseph Montano; her daughter Patrizia Ruscetti, all of Chicago, IL; her daughter, Maria Perrotta of Palm Coast; her 2 brothers, Angelo D’Orio of Italy and Andrea D’Orio of Chicago, IL; and her 13 grandchildren.
Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
