James C. Montgomery 

James C. Montgomery, 86, a retired bus driver who lived at Brinton Manor, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. 

A former resident of Flagler Beach, Fla., he retired in 1965 from the Steubenville Bus Company, Steubenville, Ohio, after 35 years. 

He was the husband of the late Dorothy Mickey Montgomery who died in 1976. 

Montgomery was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 583, Toronto, Ohio, and a former member of Community Memorial Church, Flagler Beach. 

Born in Bussertown Township, Indiana, he was the son of the late Jasper and Matilda Black Montgomery. 

Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy M., wife of Paul L. Lancaster; a sister, Emma Fitts, Robinson, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
