A committal service for Gladys Monzione 90 of Palm Coast will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 AM at Garden of Memory Mausoleum of Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.
Mrs. Monzione, who has resided in Palm Coast since 1980 coming from Chelsea MA, passed away on September 1, 2015 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born on May 14, 1925 in Chelsea MA a daughter of the late Stanley and Annie Lewinski Kushmerek.
Mrs. Monzione was a member of VFW Post 8696 Auxiliary and was an active volunteer at bingo for many years. She also volunteered at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church as we’ll as other clubs in Palm Coast. She was a great homemaker who enjoyed baking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Monzione.
Surviving are four daughters, Diane Grasso of Wilmington MA, Joann Denning of Peabody MA, Linda Pescione of Lynnfield MA and Marie DiGaetano of Lynn MA, one son, William Monzione Jr. of Orlando FL, two sisters, Adele Scobie of Devon CT and Frances Sampson of Gloucester MA, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A memorial was celebrated on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lynnfield MA.
