Mrs. Louise E. Moore, 46, was found in her bed with a bullet wound in her chest early Sunday morning at her home at Flagler Beach according to Sheriff P. A. Edmonson.

Sheriff Edmonson said the State Attorney's Office is assisting with the investigation of the shooting death. A pistol and a bullet removed from the body of Mrs. Moore have been taken to the Bureau of Law Enforcement in Tallahassee for ballistics tests Edmonson said.

Mrs. Moore was born in Wise County, Va. and moved to Flagler Beach 18 years ago from Washington, D. C. She was a member of Ocean Palm Country Club Women's Golf Assn.

She is survived by her husband, James; a son, Buddy, Flagler Beach; 3 daughters, Miss Vicki Moore, Miami; Mrs. Donna Jean Proffit, Laurel, Md., and Mrs. Joan Rhodes, Hampton, Va.; her mother, Mrs. Lena Eye, Barberton, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Payne, Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Evelyn Campbell, Salem, Va., and Mrs. Lillian Olds and Mrs. Gertrude Bile both of Barberton, Ohio; and one brother, Ted Eye, Barberton.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:00 at the Flagler Beach Baptist Church with Rev. Max Hall officiating. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, until 11:00 a.m. this morning and at the church from noon until the hour of services.

Pallbearers are Charles Wendlandt, Philip Kester, R. L. McNab, Floyd Gossell, Al Zamba and James Fields.
