Warren James Moore, Jr. 46, 208 North Sixth Street, Flagler Beach, died Saturday, May 30 at his home.

A native of Virginia, he moved to Flagler Beach 20 years ago.

He was a Purple Heart veteran of World War II, having served in the infantry in the United States Army. He was a member of VFW Post 5213; DAV Chapter No. 86, American Legion Post 115 and Flagler Beach Lions Club.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mabel Conner, Clifton Forge, Va.; two daughters, Miss Vickie Moore, Flagler Beach; and Mrs. Donna Proffitt, Laural, Md.; a son, Warren J., III, Flagler Beach; two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services were Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the Flagler Beach Baptist Church with Rev. Max Hall officiating. Graveside military services were conducted by VFW Post 5213, DAV Chapter No. 86 and American Legion Post 115 with DAV Chaplain E. Lester Stanton in charge. Interment was in Hope Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Frank Williams, Albert Zamba, Jimmy Fields, Walter Eberhardinger, Floyd Hurl and Floyd Collins. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Shropshire, Floyd Gossell, Raymond Smith and Frank Pittard.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
