Maxine L. (Miller) Moore, 78, of Palm Coast, FL, and Charlotte, NC, died on December 26, 2018, at Brookdale Carriage Club Providence, Charlotte, NC, of natural causes. A retired dental hygienist, Mrs. Moore was born on July 16, 1940, in Schenectady, NY.

A daughter of the late Nathaniel and Freda (Rosenberg) Miller, Mrs. Moore graduated from Linton High School in Schenectady, NY and the State University of New York, Farmingdale. She moved to Palm Coast, FL in 1993 from Orange, CT, where she lived with her family since 1967. While in Connecticut, Mrs. Moore and her family were longtime members of Congregation B'nai Jacob. She was an active member of the B'nai Jacob Sisterhood, Hadassah and the Turkey Hill School PTA.

Following her move to Palm Coast, she was an active member of the Palm Coast Chapter of Hadassah, where she was a Life Member, the Pine Lakes Niners, Temple Beth Shalom and the Road to Recovery Program and Retired Service Volunteer Programs of the American Cancer Society.

She was married for 55 years to her late husband, Edward I. Moore, who predeceased her in 2017. Mrs. Moore is survived by her three children: sons Stephen E., husband of Debora L. (Effross) of Charlotte, NC, Bruce K., of Cheshire, CT, and Thomas J., husband of Steven W. Schimchak, of Langhorne, PA; her grandson Alex Fabian of Charlotte, NC; her beloved sister Lela M. Gershon, of Bonita Springs, FL; her nieces Shari Gershon Greb and Renee Nash, nephew Adam Gershon; and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Beili Fabian of Stow, OH.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Flagler Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends of Maxine's will be received Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 150 Flagler Plaza Drive, Palm Coast FL 32137, where Shiva will be observed at 7:00 PM.
