A memorial service for Catherine "Cathy" Muller, 94, of Palm Coast, will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016. All are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday beginning at 1pm to gather and reminisce in preparation for her memorial service which begins at 2pm at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach. Interment of her cremated remains will be held immediately following the service at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
Cathy passed on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1922, to the late John Eyerman and Elizabeth Lankau. Cathy enjoyed a wonderful life history; in her younger years she was a fashion model, during the war she was a crane operator building war ships. She also owned and operated her own restaurant in Fort Lee, N.J. and worked for many years caring for family, friends and the elderly in care centers. She was an amazingly selfless woman who cared more about those around her than herself. Cathy was a devout follower of Jesus and filled herself with faith. She enjoyed daily bible study with her grandson Troy. She truly practiced what she preached. No person in Cathy's life was left untouched by her endless love.
Her partner in life, Paul Muller, passed on in 1975. Her 4 brothers and 4 sisters passed throughout Cathy's life as well. She was a one of a kind woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Cathy is survived by the differences she made in this world making it a better place simply by her presence, the love she filled everyone's heart with and her family who misses her dearly.
Survivors include her children, Linda Maxwell of Palm Coast and Paul Muller, also of Palm Coast; grandchildren, Troy and wife Lisa Maxwell, Tammy and husband Jim Shoemaker, Scott and wife Kristy Muller, Russell Muller, Susan and husband Mark Convoy; great-grandchildren, Kate and Lindsay Brendel, Vanessa and Brian Muller, Bethany and husband Kyle Curia, and Elijah Convoy; great-great grandchildren, Oliver and Abigail Curia.
Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
