Lloyd George Murray, 90, of Palm Coast, passed away at home peacefully under the care of Vitas Health Care February, 22, 2021. Lloyd was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Charles and Adina Murray on January 29, 1931.
He moved to England when he was young. Lloyd worked on the railroad in England. He came to the states in the early 1980s and became a citizen of the United States. Mr. Murray worked as a security guard at New York University.
He loved dancing and having a good time with friends and family. Lloyd loved to travel the world on cruises, listening to music, playing dominoes, and gardening, roses being his favorite flower. Lloyd enjoyed eating exquisite and elaborate foods. He was member of the United Caribbean Cultural Association of Palm Coast and Grenadian Association of Palm Coast.
Mr. Murray is survived by his wife, Beulah Morris-Murray, his son, Lloyd Murray, Jr, and his wife Vicky Murray of Europe, his granddaughter, Chloe Victoria Murray, his brother, Clement (Pat) Murray, his sisters, Adline Wiggan and Elaine Wiggan, his nephews, Richard Wiggan, Tony (Jill) Wiggan, and Paul (Pat) Wiggan, his nieces, and the many other family and friends he loved dearly.
Lloyd was loved by all who knew him and will be incredibly missed. Thank you to the many friends and family who have called to give their condolences to Beulah.
The visitation will be held at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1pm-2pm. The funeral service will be at 2pm. The burial will be held in Flagler Memorial Gardens with reception to follow.
