Graveside service for Ruth P. Newbury, 83, of Flagler Beach will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, 11:00AM at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach. Ruth passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at her home.
She was born on July 2, 1927 in New Rochelle, NY; to the late Oliver and Margaret Porter (Claflin). She moved to the Flagler Beach area in 1972 from Plantation, FL. Ruth enjoyed crafts, painting, traveling and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 George H. Newbury.
Survivors include her son, Robert and his wife Sigrid Newbury of Flagler Beach; daughters, Margaret Newbury of Flagler Beach; Susan and her husband Keith Eatman of St. Augustine; grandchildren, Nicholas, Jami, Kelly, Douglas; great-grandchildren, Elle and Evie.

Arrangements are under the trust and care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
