WALTER NOREIKO, 74, of Flagler Beach, Fla., died Tuesday. 

Born in Garfield, he lived in Fairfield before moving to Flagler Beach 11 years ago. Mr. Noreiko was the former owner of Sophie’s Tavern in Paterson before retiring 11 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of the Santa Marie Del Mar R.C. Church, Flagler Beach. 

Survivors include his wife, the former Concetta Catassio. 

Services were held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Santa Marie Del Mar Church. 

Arrangements were by Craig Funeral Home, Palm Coast, Fla.
