Amelia V. Oliveira


A funeral mass celebrating the life of Amelia V. Oliveira 75, of Palm Coast will be celebrated on Thursday, May 27, 2010, 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit on Thursday from 9:00AM until service time at the church.

Amelia passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010. She was born on January 25, 1935 in Portugal to the late Antonio and Maria Vaz (Flores). She was a member of the My Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Newark, NJ and moved to Palm Coast from Elizabeth, NJ in 2002. Amelia was an expert seamstress that owned an operated her own shop and she was also known to drink tons of coffee especially dunkin donuts coffee. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joao Oliveira in 2007.

Survivors include her daughters, Maria Figueiredo of Palm Coast, Amelia and her husband Abilio Santos of Palm Coast; grandchildren, Jack and Marco Figueiredo, Sandra Mercadal and Melissa Santos; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Justin Figueiredo, David and Mathey Mercadal, Joseph Figuiredo and Leandro Santos.

Services are in the care and trust of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
