FLAGLER BEACH - Lambert J. O'Neill, 79, of Ocean Palm Drive, who retired from Lambert J. O'Neill Law Firm, died Thursday at Shands Hospital, Gainesville.

Mr. O'Neill, an Army veteran of World War II, moved here in 1981 from his native Staten Island, N.Y. He was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, Men's Ocean Palm Golf Association, the Elks, the Moose Lodge and the Richmond County Bar Association. He was a graduate of Manhattan College and the Brooklyn Law School.

He enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Evelyn; four sons, Thomas; Ormond Beach, Peter, St. Augustine, Lambert, Seattle, and William, Staten Island; a daughter, Lynne O'Neill, St. Augustine; a brother, Charles; and two grandchildren.
