BUNNELL, Fla. - Francesca Dawn Parker, 15, of Apricot Lane, died Saturday (Feb. 28, 2004), the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Florida.

She was born July 11, 1988, in Daytona Beach, the daughter of George Edward Parker III and Jean Pillittieri Stipes, both of Bunnell.

A 10th-grade student at the Pace Center for Girls, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was president of the Mia Maids.

Francesca enjoyed riding horses, singing, and attending seminary and young women activities at the church. She always looked forward to the time during holidays and summers that she was able to spend with her Jamestown family. She will be sadly missed by her uncle and aunt, Joseph and Diana Pillittieri of Jamestown.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her stepfather, Michael Stipes of Bunnell; a brother, Michael Stipes of Bunnell; and her maternal grandmother, Sally Pillittieri of Flagler Beach, Fla., formerly Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her brother, George Edward ''Eddie'' Parker, who died Feb. 28, 2004, as a result of the automobile accident; a maternal grandfather, Joseph S. Pillittieri; and paternal grandparents, Fern O. and George Edward Parker II.

The funeral service will be held Saturday in Florida. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Gullo, pastor of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, will officiate.

Visitation will not be observed.
