BUNNELL - Esther J. Pate, 59, of Nutwood Avenue, a native of Walton, N.Y., died Tuesday at Florida Hospital-Flagler, Palm Coast.

Mrs. Pate, a homemaker, moved here in 1985 from Johnson City, N.Y. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell and enjoyed music and arts and crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Donald; a son, Terry Short, New York; two daughters, Amanda McDonald and Jacqueline DeLucia, both of Allentown, Pa.; two step, sons, Dennis Pate, Ludlum, S.C., and Donald Pate Jr.; Mount Pleasant, S.C.; two brothers, George Lewis, New York, and Donald Lewis, Cortland, N.Y.; four sisters, Rachel Wilson, Spartanburg, S.C., Charlotte Smith, Endicott, N. Y., Wanda Miller, East Freetown, N.Y., and Dawn Hassock, New York; 18 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
