Robert "Bob" K. Perkins

Perkins, 80, of Palm Coast, will be celebrated on Saturday, May 29, 2010; 9:00AM in the chapel of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. Interment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Friends may visit on Friday, May 28, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Bob passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. He was born on March 23, 1930 in Belle, West Virginia.

As a young man he served in the US Army. Bob was a crane operator who helped build the Twin Towers and was a member of the Local 15 Teamsters Union for 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, being outdoors and working with his hands. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Olga of 21 years; son, Robert and his wife Mary Beth Perkins of Austin, TX; step-daughters, Diane Wyatt of Palm Coast; Doreen and her husband David Kingsley of Sarasota, FL; sister, Antoinette Burnett of West Virginia; grandchildren, Kerrie and Robert Perkins of Texas; step-grandchildren, Christine and Timothy Wyatt and Christopher, Michael and Johnathan Kilduff; step great-grand-children, Kaylee Gross, Christopher, Krista and Katelynn Kilduff.

Donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association.

Services are in the care and trust of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
