Dagmar C. Petersen passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at her home. She was born on Staten Island, NY to the late James and Ida Callan (Godman).

In 1979 she and her husband moved to the Palm Coast area from Warwick, NY. Dagmar was a member of St. Marks By The Sea Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer for Florida Hospital Flagler for 27 years. Dagmar was a crafty woman who was good at all types of handwork, baking, reading and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009 Robert Petersen and her four sibling.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynne and her husband Harvey Bell of Hillsville, VA; Joan Petersen of Binghamton, NY; Barbara Meidinger of Lancaster, NY; adoptive children, Darlene Vitale of Binghamton, NY; Thomas Petersen of Palm Coast; Donald Petersen of Yadkinville, NC; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
