PALM COAST - Vincent E. Piazza, 73, of Ullian Trail, a developer for land and home construction and an inventor in mechanics, died Tuesday at Florida Hospital-Flagler.

Born in Tunisia, North Africa, Mr. Piazza moved to this area in 2001 from Prospect, Conn., where he lived for 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his brother, Pietro, Rome, Italy.
