Jennie D. (Magdic) Pikula, 85, of York, formerly of Palm Coast, FL passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the York Hospital, York, PA. She was the wife of the late John Steven Pikula who died in 1982.

Born April 14, 1924 in Port View, P A, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Mavrovic) Magdic. Mrs. Pikula was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church, for 30 years in Palm Coast, FL. She retired from Publix Supermarkets in Florida with over 25 years of service. Mrs. Pikula enjoyed Bingo, playing cards socializing with friends and traveling to Las Vegas.

Surviving are two sisters: Louise A. Venturini, York, PA; Emma J. Jandrlich, Pittsburgh, PA; also several nieces and nephews in western P A.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Patricia L. Burke, Palm Coast, FL.; also six brothers and two sisters.

A mass to celebrate her life and burial will be held in Palm Coast, FL under the direction of the Craig Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL at a later date.

The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown, PA is assisting the family with their arrangements.

A mass to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009, 1:30 PM at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
