A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Ronald J. Plate, 76, of Ormond Beach, will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Korona, FL. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 21 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach.

Mr. Plate, a resident of the area since 1997 coming from Shirley NY, passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018. He was born in Queens, NY on March 5, 1942, a son of the late Jeffrey and Vera O'Brien Plate.

A retired warehouse manager, Mr. Plate was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a veteran serving in the US Marine Corp.

Preceding him in death was his wife Patricia Plate and a son Ronald S. Plate.

Surviving are his son James Plate and his wife Catherine of Ormond Beach, his daughter Lori Miers and her husband, Gene of Bunnell, five grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Kasandra, Lauren and Madison, and his sister Barbara Parker of Syracuse NY.
