PALM COAST -- Albertha O. Powell, 76, of Westrobin Lane, a registered nurse, died Friday at home. 

Born in Portland, Jamaica, Mrs. Powell moved to this area in 1991 from East Orange, N.J. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in music from Long Island University.
She was a member of the Palm Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed painting, music and gardening. 

Survivors include three daughters, Jeanette Powell Campbell, Kaneohe, Hawaii, Marlene Powell-Ollie, Palm Coast, and Louise Wright, Teaneck, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of the Palm Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church, P.O. Box 353580, Palm Coast, FL 32135.
