Noel Lynton Powell, 77, Palm Coast, a retired New York City transit worker, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2008.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.

A  Memorial  Service  celebrating  the  life  of  Noel  Lynton  Powell  77,  of  Palm  Coast  will  be  held  on  Thursday,  September  11,  2008  2:00PM  at  St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5400 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast.  He passed away Friday, September 5, 2008 at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Mr. Powell  was  born  on  October  7,  1930  in  New  York  City  to  the  late  Samuel  and  Sarah  Powell  (Campbell).  He  served  in  the  United  States  Army  during  the  Korean  Conflict. 

In  1990  he  and  his  wife  moved  to  the  Palm  Coast  area  from  Mt.  Vernon, New York. 
Mr.  Powell was a member of St.  Thomas  Episcopal  Church,  New  York  Social  Club  and  the  Gun  Club  of  Palm  Coast.  He enjoyed making home videos and listening to jazz music.

He  is  survived  by  his  loving  wife  of  51  years,  Eileen  M.  Powell.  He  will  be  greatly  missed  by  all  those  who  knew  and  loved  him.
