PALM COAST - - Roy B. Powell, 69, of Lema Lane, a metallurgist, died Friday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 

Mr. Powell, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was born in Evansville, Ind., and moved here 14 years ago from Indiana. He was a member of Palm Coast United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. 

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary; two sons, Roy, Gainesville, and Roger, Taunton, Mass.; two daughters, Olivia Fulkert, Sarasota, and Elizabeth Powell, Dallas; a brother, Leland, Lynnville, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Palm Coast United Methodist Church Camp Fund, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast 32137.
