Mrs. Sarah Alice Renew, 98, 1331 Hillcrest Drive, a resident here since 1912, died at 3:15 p.m. yesterday at a nursing home in DeLand.
She was a native of Americus, Ga., and a member of First Baptist Church of Holly Hill.
Survivors include a son, Walter J., Daytona Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Clifton, Daytona Beach, and Mrs. Georgia Dahlberg, Fort Pierce; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Baggett-McIntosh is in charge.

Mrs. Sara Alice Ranew, 98, of Holly Hill passed away Thursday afternoon at a nursing home in DeLand.
Mrs. Ranew was a native of Americus, Ga., and had lived in Holly Hill for a number of years. For several years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Eunice Clifton at the Bunnell Airport.
Funeral service was held from the chapel of Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Home in Daytona Beach. Interment followed at Hope Cemetery at Bunnell.
Survivors include a son, Walter J., Daytona Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Clifton, Daytona Beach, and Mrs. Georgia Dahlberg, Fort Pierce; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
