PALM COAST, Fla. -- Edna S. Reese, 83, of Palm Coast, Fla., passed away Saturday (Sept. 29, 2007) at her residence.


Edna was born Jan. 6, 1924 in Towanda, Pa., to the late Karl and Angelique (Akley) Storch.
Edna was a homemaker, and she enjoyed singing, playing the piano, music and crafts.

She managed the Thrift Shop at Fanwood Presbyterian Church in Fanwood.

Edna moved to Palm Coast in 1986 from Scotch Plains. While in Palm Coast, she was a member of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir, and she was a former member of the Mix and Match Chorus of Palm Coast.

Edna is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, A. Willard Reese of Palm Coast, Fla. Additional survivors include her daughter, Diane Elizabeth Reese and her husband, Charles Perkins of Saratoga, Calif.; her son, David William Reese and his wife, Marianne, of Bridgewater; her sister, Phyllis Woodfall of Lawrenceville, Ga.; her two grandchildren, Gregory Russell Perkins and Philip Austin Perkins, both of Saratoga, Calif.; her niece, Karla Jones of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and her caregiver, Carmen Sanchez of Palm Coast, Fla.

Funeral services will begin 1 p.m. Friday at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Fla. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, Fla.
