A funeral mass celebrating the life of Irma Estrella Rivera 78, of Palm Coast will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 11 :OOAM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Parkway Palm Coast. Friends may visit 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Mrs. Rivera passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial.
She was born on March 28, 1930 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio and Estrella Sanchez (Cintron). In 1996 she and her husband moved to the Palm Coast area from the Bronx, NY. She attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Her enjoyment came from sewing, gardening, cooking, taking walks with her husband every Saturday at the Volusia Mall but most of all spending time with her friends and her beloved family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years Andres; son, Fernando Rivera and his wife Kristina Boyles of Palm Coast; daughters, Vivian Rivera and her husband Daniel B. McGlathery of Newton, Mass; Maria Isabel Rivera-Dowling and her husband Robert Dowling of Somerville, Mass; sister, Olga and her husband Julio Arce of Palm Coast; brother, Arquelio and his wife Margarita Caraballo of Palm Coast; grandchildren, McKenzie and Damian Rivera.
