Maria Emília Rodrigues, 73, of Palm Coast, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2016 in New Jersey. She was born on June 28, 1943 in Tomar, Portugal.

She was a very talented high end dressmaker and an expert in embroidery, crochet and knitting. She and her husband moved to Palm Coast 10 years ago from Elizabeth, NJ. M. Emília was a member of the Portuguese American Club in Palm Coast and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, as well as, a member of the chorus group of the Comunidade Católica de N. Sra. de Fátima de Palm Coast, member of the Rosary Society of Palm Coast, member of the Convívio dos Lavores do PACC. M. Emília will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.

She was predeceased by her father Mario De Matos.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Diamantino; sons, Paul (Diane) Rodrigues of Palm Coast, Luis (Paula) Rodrigues of Palm Coast; mother, Maria Matos of Palm Coast; brother, Luis Matos of NJ; grandchildren, Viviana, Vanessa, Isabella, Arianna.

A visitation will be held on Monday October 3, from 4:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd S. Flagler Beach.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Donations in her memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
