PALM COAST - Gerald M. Rogers, 75, of Lewis Shire Place, a retired district manager for a telephone company, died Sunday at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Mr. Rogers, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, was born in Osceola, Wis., and came here in 1989 from Scottsdale, Ariz. He was a member of the Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church and past president of Telephone Pioneers of Palm Coast. He was also a volunteer for the Flagler County Sheriff's Department Citizens On Patrol.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gloria; a son, Gregory, Palm Coast; two daughters, Melissa Cerquozzi, Fort Lauderdale, and Susan Kennedy, Duluth, Minn.; two brothers, Donald and James, both of Osceola; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Florida Hospital Memorial HospiceCare, 770 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach FL 32174.

Coastal Cremation is in charge.

Memorial service for Gerald M. Rogers, 75, Lewis Shire Place, Palm Coast, who died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Florida Hospital Flagler, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, 101 Pine Lakes Pkwy., Palm Coast.

Mr. Rogers was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Osceola, Wis., and moved to this area in 1989 from Scottsdale, Ariz. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was retired as a district manager for ATT International.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, past president of Telephone Pioneers of Palm Coast and a volunteer for Flagler County Sheriff's Department Citizens on Patrol.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Gloria; son, Gregory, Palm Coast; two daughters, Melissa Cerquozzi, Fort Lauderdale, and Susan Kennedy, Duluth, Minn.; two brothers, Donald and James, both of Osceola; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations suggested to Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church or Florida Hospital Memorial HospiceCare, 770 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
