Joanne Rogers 

Joanne Rogers, 66, of Bunnell, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2014. Joanne was born on January 9, 1948 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Samuel and Joanne (Mollica) Merenda.  

In 1972, she and her husband moved to Bunnell and established Rogers' Towing & Recovery Service, Inc. Joanne was gracious and loving to all those she met and always thought of others before herself. She will be remembered for being a fantastic cook that enjoyed hosting for her family and friends. She was the most caring and devoted wife, daughter, mother and friend.  

Survivors include her beloved husband, William "Pat" Rogers; daughter Tracy and her husband John Sarmento of Bunnell; brother Richard and his wife Patricia Merenda of Milford, CT; sister Karen Cain of Gainesville, FL; grandson, Johnathan Sarmento of Bunnell; nephews, Michael Merenda and his wife Christine of Milford, CT and James Merenda; niece, Jennifer (Merenda) Conroy and her husband Thomas of Milford, CT as well as three great nieces and two great nephews.  

Her life will be celebrated on September 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd., South Flagler Beach.  

Donations in her memory can be made to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.
