PALM COAST -- Julius Rosenstein, 81, of Filbert Lane, a letter carrier for 31 years before retiring, died Monday at Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach. 

Mr. Rosenstein, an Army-Air Corps veteran of World War II, was born in New York City and moved here 17 years ago from Somerset, N.J. He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom, Jewish War Veterans Post 84, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 1557, and the American Association of Retired Persons. 

Survivors include his wife, Belle; two daughters, Phyllis Engelman, Howell, N.J., and Eileen Pasternak, Punta Gorda; two brothers, Sid, Paso Robles, Calif., and Mac, Las Vegas; three sisters, Millie Fallick, West Palm Beach, Elaine Clausen, Canoga Park, Calif., and Naomi Gelber, Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
