PALM COAST - Abraham Rothman, 90, of Forsythe Lane, who retired as an accountant and budget analyst for the U.S. Corp. of Engineers, died Thursday at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Born in New York City, Mr. Rothman, a member of the merchant marines, moved here in 1979 from Greenbelt, Md. He enjoyed fishing, learning about different cultures and spoke fluent Spanish.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Esther; a son, Philip, Washington, Ga.; a daughter, Renne Benezra, Delray Beach; and two grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Florida Hospital Memorial HospiceCare, 770 W. Granada Blvd., Suite 102, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
