Funeral services for James Rushing, Jr., who died at his home in Stuart, Florida, on Wednesday, October 9, following a short illness will be held at two o'clock Saturday after­noon at Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Rushing is a native of Flagler County and resided here until about fifteen years ago when he moved to Stuart to reside.

Among the survivors are his widow, Mrs. Clara Rushing, and one daughter, Garnett Rushing, of Stuart, his father, James Rushing, Sr., who also resides there, his mother, Mrs. Annie Wickle, and one sister, Mrs. Pansy Parks, of Daytona Beach; also two nephews, Cecil and Jack Conkin of Miami.

Mr. Rushing is a grandson of the late George W. Durrance who was a pioneer resident of Flagler County.
