Edward White Schindler Sr., 82, of Flagler Beach, a retired electrician, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008.

Edward White Schindler Sr., 82, of Flagler Beach, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast.
Funeral services for Edward will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11 :00 am at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach, FL. His family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2008 from 10:00 am until the 11 :00 am service time at the funeral home.
Edward was born on November 11, 1926 in Hillville, Maryland to the late Jacob C. and Eva (Goodwin) Schindler. He was a retired Electrician. Edward was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church and the St Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, NASCAR Events, and NFL Football. Edward moved to Flagler Beach in 1986, coming from Hollywood, Maryland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary C. Schindler of Flagler Beach. Additional survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Edward W. Jr. and Andrea Schindler of Bakersfield, CA; his son James K. Schindler of Lancaster, VA; his 3 sisters, Ethel Hewitt of Tampa, FL, Carrie Schindler of Baltimore, MD, and Mary Mandzak of Washington, DC; his brother Frank Schindler of Tampa, FL; his 10 grandchildren and his 10 great-grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his sister Dot Aud and his brother William Schindler.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Edward to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 1500 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
