Mary Costa Seese entered Heaven on Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was a gracious and compassionate person and a loyal and dependable friend. She was truly gifted with golden hands and evidenced by her luxurious needlepoint as well as her delicious food recipes. Mom always has a welcoming smile and a 5-Star Meal for anyone who came over. People would ask her to make her famous lasagna, or a 9"lemon meringue pie or "Did she have any cookies?" Of course she did. Her specialty was chocolate chip cookies and she was unaware that her grandson was selling them by the dozens to his friends. Through the confusion, lack of communication and ravenous Alzheimer's Disease that consumed her body and mind she was always able to say "I love you" Mom will be remembered in the graceful glitter of a Christmas light, as having the strength and dignity of an old oak tree. She will be the breeze across my cheek and I will always hear her infectious laugh. Gone is the encapsulated caterpillar in its cocoon as it will emerge as a beautiful butterfly. I will look for the Angel Wings.

She is survived lovingly by her daughters, Josephine Grossflam and her husband Larry, Susan Romanello and her partner Victor Digilio, grandchildren, Carla Torres and her husband Louis, Jason Romanello and Jessica Grossflam and a great grandchild, Lucas Torres. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jared Romanello in 2004.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, Oct 5 in Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Flagler Memorial Gardens.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions are suggested Halifax Health Hospice 235 Booth St. Ormond Beach FL 32174.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
