Sara V. Sekunda, 88 of Palm Coast, died Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

She was born August 4, 1931 in Langeloth, PA., a daughter of Floyd & Sophie Zeil.

Mrs. Sekunda moved from New Jersey to Palm Coast in 2000. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

She is survived by her three children, John (JoAnn) Sekunda of Palm Coast, Marteen Dinzes of Clifton, NJ., and Jamie Brunatti of Huntington Beach, CA; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and her black lab, Lady.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sekunda; one brother, Jerome McKee; two sisters, Judy Powell and Enez Galensky; and her son-in-law, Richard Dinzes.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Sekunda’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1737 N Clyde Morris Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
