PALM COAST - Solomon Shur, 72, of Rydell Lane, who retired as a bus driver for New York City Transit Department, died Saturday at Florida HospitalOrmond Memorial.
Mr. Shur was born in New York City and came to this area in 1990 from the Bronx, N.Y. He was a member of the stamp club and was a former treasurer of the New York City Transit Club, Palm Coast. He enjoyed wood carving.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Vela; two sons, Robert, Palm Coast, and Nicholas, Reston, Va.; a sister, Rita Palter, New York City; and three grandchildren.
