A memorial service celebrating the life of Vela V. Shur, 76, of Palm Coast, will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, 2:00 PM at the chapel of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach. Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until service time.

Mrs. Shur passed away peacefully on September 28, 2009. Vela immigrated from Europe as a child and grew up, worked and was married with children in New York City until husband Sol Shur retired and they moved to Florida.

Vela is survived by her two sons, Robert and Nicholas. Her parents, two sisters, beloved husband and infant daughter preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 555. W. Granada Blvd, A-1, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.

Arrangements are under the trust and care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
