PALM COAST - Genovera M. Soares, 76, of Faircastle Lane, a retired assembly line worker for Power Systems Inc., Bloomfield, Conn., died Wednesday at home.

Mrs. Soares, a native of Saoa, Portugal, moved to this area in 2000 from Waterbury, Conn. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Mrs. Soares enjoyed sewing, cooking, cleaning and watching Spanish soap operas.

Survivors include three sons, Paulino, Palm Coast, Octavio, Hartford, Conn., and Joao, Acores, Portugal; two daugh­ters, Helia Rodrigues, Palm Coast, and Aura Bettencourt, East Hartford, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Craig-Flagler Palms, Flagler Beach, is in charge.
