Central Ave., Flagler Beach. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16 from 12:00 P.M (Noon) until 1:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.

Mr. Sparagna, a resident of Palm Coast since 1998 coming from Stamford CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Florida Hospital Flagler. He was born on December 26, 1920 in Italy, a son of the late Pasquale and Maria Grazia Rasile Sparagna.

He was the former owner of Stamford Waste Paper Company and a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. Mr. Sparagna loved to be involved with his family in all their activities and they were his life. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, playing the harmonica and gambling.

Preceding him in death in 2006 was his wife, Antonetta.

Surviving are two daughters, Theresa Bongo and her husband, Dominic, Mary DeBlasi and her husband, Guy both of Palm Coast; one son, Pat Sparagna and his wife, Vicki of Stamford CT; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions in memory of Mr. Sparagna be made to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 180 Memorial Parkway, Palm Coast FL 32164.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
