BUNNELL - Frank S. Steflik Jr., 80, of Second Avenue, who retired as a farmer in 1984 and was a member of a pioneer Flagler County family, died Monday at Flagler Pines.

Mr. Steflik, an Army veteran of World War II who served with the Merrill's Marauders infantry, was born in Beauty, Ky. He moved here in 1927 from Kentucky. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Hungarian Club. He enjoyed fishing, genealogy, traveling, gardening and collecting antiques.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Emily; two sons, David, Provo, Utah, and Daniel, Elko, Nev.; a daughter, Donna Long, Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers, Mike, Flagler Beach, and Louis, Bunnell; a sister, Mary Thompson, Norfolk, Va.; and nine grandchildren.
