PALM COAST - Irwin Stein, 71, of Comanche Court, who retired after 42 years of service as an electrician from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No.3, died Wednesday at home.

Mr. Stein, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and came to this area in 1996 from Emerson, N.J. A 32nd Degree Mason, he also was a member of the Shriners, the Flagler Sports Fishing Club and a past commander and chaplain of the Penny Whitman Post No. 300 Jewish War Veterans. He enjoyed boating.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Lynne; a son, Mitchell, Courtland Manor, N.Y.; a daughter, Stacy Osak, Warwick, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
