Mary E. Straton, of Palm Coast, died on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

Mary came to Palm Coast, from Rochester, NY in 1985. During WWII Mary worked on bomb sights for the US Air force. She retired after 25 years as an inventory accountant for an Optical Company. Mary was very active in swimming and fishing as a young woman and became active in golfing since moving to Palm Coast.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Straton, Jr.

She is survived by her cousins, Marion Stein and Betty Mason; nephew, John “Jack” Ideman; nieces, Suzanne Stewart, Beverly Bidwell and Roberta Andrews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Flagler County Humane Society.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy., Palm Coast. Inurnment will take place at Flagler Palm Memorial Gardens.
