Charles L. Streeter, 71, died at his home in Flagler Beach Friday night after an extended illness.

A native of Clarkstown, Mich., he moved here from Detroit in 1946 and has operated a coffee shop on North A-l-A with his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Streeter.

He was a clerk in the local post office for five years. He was a member of Palestine Masonic Lodge of Detroit, and a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to his widow, survivors are a son, John L. Streeter, Detroit; a step-daughter and two sisters in Michigan, and three step-sons living in Canada.

Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church here Monday afternoon, with Rev. Leonard Melton officiating. Masonic Lodge No. 200 of Bunnell conducted the graveside ceremony at Hope Cemetery.
